Things to do at Woolgoolga

Whether you are after a three-course meal or a fish and chips on the beach, many of Woolgoolga's restaurants and cafes are only a short drive away from the Waterside Cabins.

Whilst visiting Waterside Cabins, why not take the chance to have a look inside the impressive Guru Nanak Sikh Temple. Drive through the Wedding Bells State Forest and stop to take a moment to see the subtropical rainforest which provides a habitat for many bird species. Stroll along side the Woolgoolga Creek to the lovely waterfall as it cascades over the rocks.

For those who of you who love the great outdoors, Woolgoolga is great for fishing, scuba diving, snorkeling, swimming, surfing and coastal walks. View the wonderful, magestic humpback whales during May through June and again September through October on their migration on the east coast of Australia from magnificent Woolgoolga Headland where they can be viewed close to the shore. Also enjoy the spectacular views up & down the coastline.

Woolgoolga also has several events held throughout the year. The Woolgoolga Curryfest is held over Easter. It is the town’s celebration of local multi-culturalism, with a thrilling program of food, music and dance.
