Woolgoolga - As seen on TV

In May 2009 The Waterside Cabins were happy to host a Sydney Film Crew during their stay in Woolgoolga. They were in town to film a pilot programme they hope to sell to a Television Network. The concept developed by Mitch Grainger (Sydney Songwriter, Musician and Actor) and legendary Actor and local Jack Thompson involves visiting small towns across Australia, interviewing locals and finding a local story to inspire a song on the town – Australian Songbook. It was great fun and our town with its multi cultural feel offered a great start to this collaboration resulting in a fun and catching Woolgoolga song that was launched locally on May 31st. We wish Mitch and his team (Dana, Brigitte, Natua and Rowan) the best for the future development of the TV series and we look forward to seeing Woolgoolga on TV.
