Whale Watching At Waterside

Whale Watching At Waterside

The winter months at Woolgoolga offer the exciting annual passage of the migratory Sperm Whales. You could be lucky enough to spot the enormous creatures of the sea off Back Beach just 3 minutes walk from your luxurious and comfortable stay in one of our Waterside Cabins. Alternatively, with a short drive to the Woolgoolga Headland, you are almost certainly assured fantastic views of the whale migration from the comfort of your car. July is an excellent time to sit on the Headland Whale watching. In fact, July 1st last year managers of the Waterside Cabins spotted around 50 whales from close to the coast to (spouting) near the horizon. Certainly a highlight of last winter!
